Mario Castro Baro (Madrid, 1987) is an artist based in León (Spain) whose projects follow paths of introspection and search, insofar as they constitute a deliberate means of approaching the deepest and most archaic layers of human psychology. His work is part of important collections such as DKV, MUSAC or ILC. It has also been exhibited at photography festivals such as Encontros da Imagen (Braga), Rassegna Internazionale (Bologna) or Fotogenio (Mazarrón). At present, he manages and coordinates the cultural program of León es Photo (www.leonesphoto.es); creating the call for artist 'Expositivos' (EX+S), which promotes the development of contemporary creation and provides artists with resources for the production and exhibition of their projects.
